Patricia Long joined the International Rescue Committee in July 2004 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for leading the IRC’s finance and information technology departments, which support the refugee agency’s operations in 25 countries worldwide and its regional resettlement offices in 20 U.S. cities.
Patricia joined the IRC from Save the Children in Westport Conn., where she served as Treasurer, and Vice President, finance and administration since 2000. During the previous 18 years, she held a series of senior executive positions at Columbia University. In her final assignment, she was Assistant Vice President, finance and administration, at the University’s Morningside campus.
Patricia, a graduate of Manhattanville College, resides in Bronxville, N.Y.
