Washington, D.C. – NetHope, a unique collaboration of the world's leading international humanitarian organizations working together to solve common problems in the developing world, today welcomed its 31st member organization, Pact—a nonprofit organization dedicated to building empowered communities, effective governments and responsible private institutions that give people an opportunity for a better life.
Pact will contribute to and benefit from the shared knowledge and technology resources that are available to NetHope’s expanding community of leading NGOs. NetHope’s collaborative approach and effective use of technology to address human development, emergency relief and conservation issues will enable Pact to have an even greater impact on the people and communities that they serve.
“Collaborative, robust technology solutions help our teams build solutions and generate results that enable people in need to craft and own their future." John Talieri, CIO of Pact, said. “Pact’s continued success is dependent upon our ability to forge strategic partnerships that help us achieve our mission. As such, we're extremely excited to be a part of NetHope, and look forward to working closely with the member organizations to develop sustainable solutions for our shared development objectives.”
“Pact’s addition adds to NetHope’s collective information and communications technology (ICT) expertise, skills and capacity, which enables our member organizations to operate more effectively and efficiently around the globe,” stated NetHope CEO Bill Brindley.
